I have only had a quick glimpse through my blind but it is beginning to look as though it is going to be another sunny day!! I almost fell off my bed when I saw!
Isnt it funny how certain songs can remind us of certain feelings we had at a certain time in our lives. (overuse of the word certain there..)
I was watching the movie Click and the Cranberries "Linger" is played during the movie and it made me go all goosey and sent me back to a summer when I was a teenager and I had that song blaring in my room.
Sometimes I think we underestimate the power of music.. Have you ever heard a song and had to press the off key because it reminds you of a terribly sad time in your life? In the same respect, have you ever rushed to turn the volume up because its a song that you have not heard for years?? Its all in music!! I have lost count of the number of times Ive cried when a certain song has been played... You just have to catch me in the right mood.. I mean, I know Aqua- Barbie girl is not that an emotional song to most people but it really hits me right here *taps where heart is*... Ok, maybe not...
Music also is the icing on the cake with films... I remember the first time I saw the film Titanic, and although it was very sad when Leo di cappucino died, it was the background music that did it for me. The girl that I was having a date with at the time didnt take kindly to the not so manly sobbing heap sat next to her.. oh well, Bothered?!?
I cant imagine been deaf and not having music to listen to and I hope that I never have to find out...
That is all

Great post I agree with you entirely about the music thing. And its funny how you mention crying in titanic and the music from click. This is because I committed a far worse crime han you by actually shedding a tear in that crap Adam Sadler film. I don't even know why, there must have been something going on in my life at the time that let it get to me. Well at least thats how I explained it to my less than impressed girlfriend!
