Tonight, myself Andrew and Jasey walked out of The Golden Compass. I have to say that the film was the biggest crock of shit that I have ever seen... There were three highlights...

1.) The little girl saying "I cant roger..." which forced a giggle from myself and Jasey.
2.) The polar bear saying to the little girl. "You want to ride me?!" in a very suggestive manner if I do say so myself.. at this point the whole cinema erupted with laughter.
3.) If you can count this then the "Enchanted" movie trailer that was on before the movie started. I must go and see that film when it goes out.

The Golden Compass has been rated 5 stars by almost every review that I have seen. How this was possible, I tell thee I havent a clue. It is the most random film that I have ever seen. The story line was non existant and jumped from one part to another. We were not the only people that walked out of the showing muttering "What a pile of shite..." either. It just didnt make sense.. From when the depressed alcoholic Polar bear knocked the chin off the King Polar Bear, to where 1000 men in funny hats and a leopard by their sides walked over a bridge that collapsed just 2 minutes earlier... WHERES THE SENSE??? Oh, and then there was the random witches that always seemed to be swooping over going to war some place or another and showed up when they felt like it.. and might I add, not a shade of green or a wart in sight on the wenches!

The door hosts on the way out told us that we should have stayed as there is a big car chase at the end of the movie followed by a showing of brad pitt naked.. They obviously agreed with the randomness of the whole thing.

Seriously, I can sit through most things.. If I can watch a "jasey choice movie" then I can watch most things God knows Monster House and Garfield arent my first choice... The last film I physically walked out of was when I was 16 and had first started working. It was to see Disneys Dinosaurs (remember it? No? Im not surprised!) and it was because I was nodding off, slobbering and snoring.. This film tops that.

So yeah, dont waste your money! xxx
