I write to you on day 3 of a 6 day course in Belgium. So far so good. I cant wait to get back into the UK to see everyone though! I have managed to make a few friends while Ive been here so hopefully will not be as awkward the next time we come along for the second course! Noone knew until last night that I was gay except for my Irish colleague Louise. I had to tell her to out me to all the Belgium, polish, Finnish and swedish people in the end because I was getting a bit sick of them asking for my input on whether I was a tit or leg man. It was strange to not have to worry about getting a flight here. While in St Pancras and waiting for the Eurostar, I was getting the same kind of feeling as when I go on a flight. I had to keep reminding myself that I was not getting on an aeroplane.
Oh, and I have a claim to fame. In St Pancras, Tony Blair was pushed past us in his entourage in a magical glass lift that took him away from all the common folk and onto the train. He looked a lot thinner than I remember him doing on telly!
I know I dont update very often anymore and I am going to make a conscious effort when I get back to write more!!
Hope every1 is well!
xx
