Before I begin, I know Im getting rather shockingly shite at this whole blogging business but I simply dont have the time to blog as much as I used to. Hopefully when I get my heels kicked in with this sales job, things will be a little easier. But lets be honest, I never really said anything of too much interest did I!? ;-)

Im in Belgium for the second course for the job that I am doing. I am sitting here ready to go into my second roleplay, where I have got to sell a solution to a customer while been observed by 2 people and been filmed with a video camera.. Now that will be car crash TV!!

Ive managed to actually surprise myself over how much Ive learnt on this course. I came with a very negative attitude as I have always believed that roleplays can come across as very false and all you need to succeed in them is to be a great actor! However, the way in which this course has been set up is the best course I have ever been on. Although we are been observed, recorded etc, it is a very real situation and the video is never watched unless u wish to show someone. My negative thoughts when I arrived on this course was that I was going to bin it as soon as I got home. However, I think its going to be a lovely little keepsake to show the grandkids!

On the last course, I was the only english person. Everyone else was european.. danish, swedish, polish, finnish, etc but on this I have met a couple of english people. The first is a Scottish girl named Candice and the second is a geordie named Lisa. On the nights out we have had such a laugh. People constantly take the pee out of us because we are from the UK and drink tea and lose football/eurovision so we developed a little insult of our own..

"you bunch of eastern european, Belgian chocolate eating, eurovision cheating fuckers!"

The way in which the scotch girl said "fucker" literally made me double up with laughter.. She is really one of the funniest people I have met. She has such a similar sense of humour to me!

I realise this isnt interesting to most people but I literally got into bed last night chuckling away to myself and its a memory that I know I will look back on and smile! . I think it was the "eurovision cheating fuckers" that tickled me!

So yeah, have ended up having a much better time than on the last course here. But Im going to be glad to start actually doing my job from Monday!
