- Got two days off work to sort out some of my belongings. Have unpacked first load and out to get the second lot tonight. :-(
- Went Ikea today. Very traumatic experience. Why sell a bed in 5 different parts, and why have to wonder around 3 different aisles to get the parts for one bed. Is worth paying a little more to get the whole sha-bang in one go from Argos and means less trips to and forth when you realise you have not picked up the slats! !
- Settling in well all things considered. Fear that funds may be low over the next couple of weeks... Going to have to have beans for breakfast, dinner and tea. (dont offend me by telling me its breakfast, lunch and dinner... s'not right where I come from.)
- Am really calm about the best man speech at the moment but this may be because am yet to practise it on anyone. Feedback so far as all been positive. However, am not kind of person who likes to stand in front of people talking. Nor am I the kind of person that likes been picked out in a crowd. In fact, am kind of person who likes to cower in a corner and let everyone else steal the limelight. Dont want to do speech but would not want the oppurtuinity to do speech taken away from me at this late hour and after all the preperation that has been done!
